Garden Consultations
We offer two slightly different consultation sessions: IDEAS and ACTION. Which one is right for you depends on your specific needs.
IDEAS is best if you’re feeling lost about what can be done to turn your garden into the perfect space for you and your family.
ACTION is perfect if you already have thoughts about how you’d like to improve your garden, but you aren’t sure how to achieve the outcome you want.
ideas consultation
The IDEAS session is perfect if your garden isn’t working for you, but you’re not sure why or where to start. Together, we’ll explore how the space is used, uncover the core issues, and identify the opportunities that will make the biggest difference.

Included:
A focused, 60-minute virtual* session with Dale to discuss your space, identify your goals, and develop ideas to help you achieve them.
Following the session you will receive a written summary of your conversation including any or all of the following:
Diagnosis of challenges
Actionable ideas for your space
Clear priorities and next steps you can take to improve your garden
*If you live within 10-miles of Godalming Dale can travel to conduct the session with you in-person.
Not included:
Drawings and/or plans are not included in the consultation. If, following the session, you decide to engage us to design your garden we will discount our fee by the cost of the consultation.
Action Consultation
The ACTION session is perfect if you already have ideas or a rough plan for your garden but aren’t sure how to turn them into a successful outcome. Together, we’ll refine your ideas, identify potential challenges, and provide clear guidance on how to sequence and implement changes.

A focused, 60-minute virtual* session with Dale to discuss and refine your ideas, and develop a plan to achieve your goals.
Following the session you will receive a written summary of your conversation including any or all of the following:
Clear principles and suggestions for turning your plan into reality
Guidance on layout, structure, and planting and material options
Clarity on next steps and priorities to focus on
